30 MPH 1-2KW

Beginner commuter Dualtron scooters typically have a 30 MPH top speed, a 30-mile range, drum brakes, and the lightest weight and size. These scooters are the best to learn!

The top speed will determine the size of your motor, batteries, and deck. The higher the top speed is, the heavier the scooter and the longer the range your scooter will have.

Battery Range

• Performance commuters are great for beginners and advanced riders who want power and portability
• High-performance models are for advanced riders who wish to havea high-speed, Long range
• Extreme performance models are for expert riders who want to push the limits of performance and extreme range
• Once you’ve established your preferred specs, you can quickly sort through each model to find which model is the best choice for your needs.

Lower Budget

For example, if your desired top speed is 25 MPH, 30-mile range, 50 lbs weight, and a 48V drivetrain, the Speedway Leger or Dualtron Mini would be your top choice. The Mini is more potent but pricier; the Leger has very close specs but an older-generation chassis design.

Higher Budget

If you’re desired top speed is +50 MPH, 75-mile range, 80 lbs weight, and 60V drivetrain,  the Ultra V2 would be a perfect choice for more advanced features (but heavier in weight); consider the Dualtron Thunder.

Top Speed

The maximum speed a scooter can reach. Dualtron’s usually perform at 50%, 70%, or 100% of this speed, based on user riding settings, battery charge, rider weight, and road conditions.

Battery Range

The maximum distance a scooter battery can cover on a full charge. Real world conditions (steep hills, high speed, stop and go traffic) can reduce the charge up to 30% based on conditions. The range is rated in the best conditions and is a good metric to compare other scooters with each other.

Charge Time

Average time it will take to recharge a depleted battery up to 100%. The ratings will very depending on standard charger or fast charger usage.

Climbing Grade

The maximum steepness a scooter can climb. All MiniMotors scooters have strong hill climbing capability, the high performance and extreme performances are the strongest. Climbing gradient is measured in percentages or degrees.

Max Load

Dualtron scooters rarely go on sale; you can only expect a discount if the prices change globally or during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. During Black Friday last year, most 60V models were 20-30% off.
