Most high performance electrics scooters suffer from the dreaded speed wobble.
The electric scooter speed wobble occurs when an electric scooter reaches a speed that causes the front motor and handlebar to wobble. The speed wobble can onset during take-off, but most commonly at higher speeds, 20-30+mph. At high speeds, this wobble is not safe and could lead to injury if a rider hits a pothole or makes a sharp turn.
As both a selling point and safety feature, electric scooter manufacturers are now offering stock speed dampers on their most powerful flagship units.

Which speed damper systems do you prefer?
There are ongoing debates in the community about which damper system is superior. I have friends who swear by the Errex build quality and aesthetic, while others prefer a more substantial damp control and aesthetic of the deck-mounted systems.
From an aesthetic and cost perspective, I prefer the deck-mounted systems. If I have the budget, I may consider investing in an Errex for testing purposes.
